The Vicway VT 1000E has a powerful 180w 24v DC motor that will stand up to the demands of modern households. With most new garages located to the front of the home the garage door is commonly used as the front door for the day to day of life. Over the years the number of cycles for the average garage door has more than doubled.
The VT 1000E has a 1000n peak power rating and is suited for doors up to 16.5m2 making it capable for standard production doors up to 3 meters high and 5 meters wide.
It also comes standard with built in obstruction detection sensing that will automatically activate if the door comes into contact with an obstruction. Let’s be honest. Once in a while we all forget to clear the opening when putting the door down. Often we will press the remote without even looking to see if it is safe to close.
When the door comes into contact with an obstacle the sensing intelligence will notice the increase in force and auto reverse. It is also helpful in protecting your door and opener when there is a mechanical problem that would otherwise cause damage to your opener
With soft start / soft stop, your door starts to move slowly then speeds up then slows down again before stopping. This feature is a game changer for garage doors. Not only does it reduce the chance of a sectional door jamming in the tracks it also stops the door from slamming into the ground. Quite simply a great feature to have on any garage door opener.

Manual override: When your power goes out you won’t be able to use your remote handset to open your door. The manual override acts much like your cars neutral gear. Pulling down on the lever takes your opener out of gear allowing you to move your door by hand.
